Most probably the oldest, driving Alfa Romeo on the planet. Found in incredibly rust-free and well preserved condition in Egypt and found its way into an Austrian collection more tan 30 years ago. Chassisnumber 3114 fits into the production year 1914, but was obviuosly completed and delivered after the first world war. Judging from the original, but more modern radiator design, it must have been finished in 1921.

Carozzeria Falco was founded by the brother of GP racer Antonio Ascari. Located it Terrazzano di Rho, it became Carozzeria Touring from 1925 onwards. Since Carr. Falco was mainly focussing on aeroplanes, it might well have been the inspiration for the later established Superleggera design.
