1929 Alfa Romeo 6C 1750 T/SS Spider
This rare 6C 1750 was built in 1929, but obviously first registered in 1934. Starting life as a Turismo it was converted to transport injured people during the war. Shortly after the war it was converted into a Spider and upgraded with a DOHC engine from the same series in Super Sport specification including the small, higher revving compressor and correct Memini carbs. Full list of owners and history is available in detail. The car has always been in Italy and due to the age of its last owner, it spent the last decade in a museum. We have therefore spent lots of effort and money to overhaul all technical components, which includes a complete engine overhaul, gearbox, brakes, radiator, fuel system etc., to name the most important parts. The engine is still in progress but will be finished in the next month. Inspection of the ongoing work is welcome. Please call or mail for details and pictures.
